Our client a collateral-free trade transaction finance company that provides business owners with quick access to funds for financing their operations offers short-term financing options to trade and supply chain businesses as well as allied enterprises/entities in Nigeria. They are seeking to hire Growth Officers who will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with merchants in the following locations in Abeokuta Ogun State.
Job Responsibilities
As a Sales Officer your primary role will be to acquire new merchants and generate revenue for our Transaction Finance company. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with merchants.
Acquire new merchants & manage existing merchant transactions (Draw down & Repayment)
Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new merchants and generate revenue
Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them
Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends
Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential customers
Negotiate contracts and terms with merchants
Work closely with internal teams including Risk & Compliance Retention Technical Support and Product to ensure a seamless user experience
Continuously monitor and analyze sales performance and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Communications or related field is an added advantage
At least 2 years of experience in sales business development or a similar role
Experience in the transaction finance industry is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
