Job Description
For our Berlin location we are looking for an intern (m/f/diverse) for a duration of at least 3 months in the AI Lab starting as soon as possible.
Your tasks include:
Develop and evaluate feature-level augmentation techniques (e.g. latent interpolation distribution calibration) to improve recognition of rare or underrepresented driver activities
Design robust and generalizable models using self-supervised learning and domain adaptation strategies to handle real-world challenges.
Benchmark and interpret model performance to validate the impact of augmentation
Collaborate with our team on potential follow-up research projects
Qualifications :
- Students of a technical course such as Computer Science Machine learning Artificial Intelligence Statistic Mathematics Mechatronics
- Well versed in Python PyTorch and Machine learning models (CNN Transformers)
- Self-supervised learning representation learning
- Basic knowledge of German and fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
- Learning ability and analytical thinking
- Results orientation independence and motivation

The AI Lab Berlin is part of Continentals central research and pre-development and will be responsible for enabling the use of artificial intelligence in future products of our company.
