Design Lead - Architect

We are seeking a visionary and innovative Design Lead - Architect to join our dynamic team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our architectural studio you will spearhead the design and execution of medium to large-scale projects collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver exceptional architectural solutions that push the boundaries of creativity and functionality.

• Lead conceptual design schematic design and design development phases for diverse projects including mixed-use residential commercial and public buildings
• Manage project schedules budgets and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of architectural designs
• Collaborate with clients stakeholders and government agencies to understand project requirements and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
• Mentor and guide junior architects and design teams fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
• Develop and present compelling design proposals and presentations to clients and stakeholders
• Oversee the production of high-quality technical drawings specifications and other project documentation
• Implement sustainable design practices and cutting-edge technologies to create environmentally responsible and efficient buildings
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure design integrity throughout the construction process
• Stay current with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in architectural design
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia
• Contribute to the firms design philosophy and help establish its reputation as a leader in innovative architecture

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited institution
• Professional architecture license or certification
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in architectural design with a focus on medium to large-scale projects
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex architectural projects from concept to completion
• Proficiency in architectural design software including AutoCAD Revit and SketchUp
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and its application in architectural design
• Strong portfolio showcasing innovative and visionary architectural designs
• In-depth knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED certification
• Familiarity with local building codes regulations architectural styles and cultural considerations in Saudi Arabia
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor junior architects
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design concepts effectively
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Exceptional organizational skills and capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Visionary approach to architectural design with a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality
• Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in architecture
