Data Analyst - Facilities and Operations Division
About the Role
We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Facilities and Operations Division. You will transform complex data into actionable insights through Tableau visualizations and Excel analytics. This entry to mid-level position requires experience with varied data sources and strong problem-solving skills as you will play a critical role in supporting members of the organization from financial analysts up to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Real estate analytics experience is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop maintain and upgrade Tableau dashboards focused on work orders asset reporting and project tracking
- Design and optimize complex SQL queries to extract actionable insights from multiple databases
- Extract and prepare data from the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) SQL Server and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) BigQuery environments to support financial analysis
- Establish and maintain Extract Transform and Load (ETL) processes to standardize data
- Build data pipelines for solar installation projects including Application Programming Interface (API) integrations with various external data sources
- Serve as the main contact for ad hoc analytical requests from senior leadership
- Analyze data to identify trends anomalies and opportunities for operational improvement
- Maintain clear documentation of data sources processes and transformations
Qualifications :
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Tableau expertise for creating effective visualizations and dashboards
- Strong SQL skills including complex query writing and data manipulation
- Proficiency with Excel including advanced features Power Query Power Pivot
- Familiarity with Systems Applications & Products (SAP) for reporting and data extraction
- Demonstrated experience in developing ETL processes and data pipelines
- Python programming skills for data analysis and automation tasks
- Ability to utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) models to expedite development processes when necessary
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle inconsistent or incomplete data
- 2-5 years of experience in data analysis or related roles
- Strong analytical thinking and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in support of team members
Nice to Have
- Experience with GCP particularly BigQuery
- Background in real estate analytics or asset management
- Experience with API integrations for data collection
- Familiarity with similar operational tracking systems in facilities management
