As a Supply Chain Manager at IKEA Industry Orla you will play a crucial role in making sure that our components reach the right place at the right time and in the right quantity. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of the entire IKEA supply chain.
Your Role
In this position you will combine strategic planning with day-to-day operational responsibility for sales and logistics at the IKEA Industry Orla production unit. Your main task will be to ensure a smooth flow of components to internal IKEA recipients and external customers maintaining the highest standards of efficiency quality and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning organizing and coordinating product flow across the entire factory from customer order to shipment.
Maintaining close cooperation with other IKEA Industry factories to synchronize production and delivery plans.
Creating and executing the units sales and logistics strategy based on customer needs.
Managing the demand forecasting and capacity planning processes in collaboration with production and quality teams.
Being responsible for inventory optimization transport cost control and on-time delivery performance.
Responsibility for procurement processes and ensuring the continuity of supply of materials and services in line with the production needs of the site.
Operational responsibility for the CTS department where boards are cut to precise dimensions according to customer specifications ensuring efficient and high-quality production aligned with customer requirements and sustainability goals.
Supervising the sales logistics CTS and purchasing teams inspiring developing competencies and building strong engagement.
Supporting initiatives in lean manufacturing continuous improvement and process digitalization.
Collaborating with other IKEA Industry units and Inter IKEA Group to ensure operational alignment and leverage synergies.
Ensuring compliance with legal requirements IKEA internal standards and customer expectations.
Qualifications :
We believe you are someone who combines a strong business mindset with a deep understanding of production and logistics processes. You think systemically act collaboratively and base your decisions on data insight and IKEA values.
To succeed in this role you need:
Experience in managing sales and/or supply chain operations in a production environment.
Knowledge of production planning international logistics and inventory management.
Strong data literacy and the ability to plan and make decisions based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Experience working in a matrix organization and collaborating with internal customers.
Ability to build effective teams and inspire people to take initiative.
Openness to change a proactive mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
Fluency in both English and Polish.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. M3) is a plus.

This is a full-time permanent position based in the IKEA Industry plant in Orla.
