Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

Join our dynamic R&D team and drive innovation in air-to-water heat pump systems essential technologies for sustainable heating in modern buildings.

  • Define and derive reliability requirements from real-life load profiles to ensure long-term product performance.
  • Lead and moderate product quality sessions such as FMEAs focus matrix discussions DRBFMs and risk assessments in line with Boschs Engineering System.
  • Plan set up and carry out reliability and validation tests.
  • Conduct technical and safety reviews throughout the product development cycle.
  • Collaborate on the development and refinement of reliability methods.
  • Support field monitoring and lead problem-solving efforts using structured tools like 8D reports.
  • Communicate test results clearly to cross-functional development teams supporting data-driven decisions.

Qualifications :

What distinguishes you: 

Education:

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Physics Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in product development quality function validation or similar. Experience within Bosch Home Comfort or familiarity with Bosch development processes is a strong advantage.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel Word PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with lab tools like Matlab or LabView is an advantage.

Know-how

  • Knowledge of statistical methods reliability testing and material science.
  • Understanding of mechanical construction fluid mechanics thermodynamics and refrigeration systems.

Languages

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken). Additional language skills are a plus.

  • You are proactive analytical and structured in your approach.
  • You thrive in cross-functional teams and can balance independent tasks with team collaboration.

  • You are results-driven curious and eager to solve complex problems.
