Job Description
What youll do
We are looking for a Purchasing Agent Intern to be part of the team at SLS Barcelona. Under the guidance of the Purchasing Manager youll be responsible for the storage distribution maintenance and accounting of food and beverage general supplies and maintaining the cleanliness of the storage area according to standards.
- Check receiving and storage procedures daily to ensure they are being followed.
- Verify that products are received issued documented stored and ordered according to company guidelines.
- Coordinate with other departments on warehouse operational matters when necessary.
- Issue stock/supplies to staff submitting duly approved requisition forms as per standard operating procedure (SOP).
- Keep application forms on file ensuring they are properly completed and acknowledged by the requesting party.
- Ensure that all items stored in freezers are properly packed in plastic bags and labeled with appropriate labels.
- Responsible to receive document store and issue all goods and materials ordered.
- Issue received goods to proper departments.
- Keep shipping and receiving log up to date.
- Take and maintain Inventory of storeroom product.
Qualifications :
