Job Title: Takeoff Specialist (Construction Estimator)
Location: Remote (EST Time Zone)
Salary Range: up to 3000 USD
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (EST)

Their remote team plays a critical role in supporting pre-construction workflows and client bids.
Position Overview:
Were hiring a Takeoff Specialist to join the sales team in a full-time remote capacity. This role focuses on performing quantity takeoffs for architectural metals -- primarily wall panels roof systems and related components. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented deadline-driven and highly proficient in reading construction drawings. Youll support the sales team by delivering accurate fast and well-documented takeoffs that help win projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed material quantity takeoffs from architectural drawings using Bluebeam or similar tools.
- Interpret bid invitations to identify the relevant scope.
- Produce marked-up drawings and takeoff summaries for internal use.
- Collaborate with sales team members to clarify scope assumptions and identify potential gaps.
- Manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight submission deadlines.
- Flag missing details or inconsistencies in construction documents.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of takeoff experience in commercial construction (metal scopes a plus).
- Strong literacy in reading construction drawings particularly architectural and roofing plans.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu or equivalent takeoff software.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and deadline sensitivity.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote team setting.
- Solid written and verbal English communication skills.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working with metal wall panels roofing systems or edge metal.
- Familiarity with estimating platforms like Stack OnCenter or similar.
- Background in subcontracting estimating or construction project coordination.
