Position Summary
Were looking for a proactive knowledgeable and empathetic Swedish-Speaking Travel Agent to become part of our essential remote team based in Bulgaria. This is a fully remote position giving you the freedom to work from anywhere within Bulgaria while staying connected through robust virtual collaboration tools. As a Travel Agent youll be the primary point of contact for Swedish-speaking travelers offering expert guidance and assistance across various channels including phone email and chat. Your main responsibilities will involve ensuring top-notch customer satisfaction efficiently managing travel bookings providing comprehensive information on destinations and products and upholding the high service standards associated with our valued clients brand.
Key Responsibilities
Travel Consultation & Booking:
- Offer professional polite and efficient travel advice to Swedish-speaking customers through inbound phone calls emails and live chat.
- Help customers with a wide range of travel inquiries such as booking flights hotels car rentals package tours cruises and other travel-related services.
- Research and suggest appropriate travel options based on customer preferences budget and travel needs.
- Accurately and efficiently process bookings changes and cancellations using various booking systems and tools.
- Manage payment processing and ensure all financial transactions are secure and properly recorded.
Customer Service & Problem Resolution:
- Address and resolve customer complaints concerns and travel-related issues with empathy patience and a strong focus on finding solutions.
- Provide immediate assistance for urgent travel situations like re-booking due to delays or cancellations lost luggage or emergency support during trips.
- Offer precise and thorough information on travel policies visa requirements travel insurance and health regulations.
- Document all customer interactions bookings and resolutions accurately and completely within the CRM system ensuring detailed records for future reference.
Product Knowledge & Destination Expertise:
- Develop a deep understanding of various travel products services destinations and current industry trends available on the platform.
- Stay continuously informed about airline policies hotel chains tour operators and global travel advisories to provide accurate and timely information.
- Act as a true representative of the travel brand ensuring every customer interaction strengthens a positive brand image builds trust and encourages repeat business.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
- Work effectively with remote team members supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth service delivery and consistent quality across all customer interactions.
- Actively participate in virtual training sessions team meetings and calibration exercises to improve skills deepen knowledge of destinations and products and ensure alignment with service standards.
- Provide valuable feedback and insights on customer trends common issues and opportunities for process improvements to help boost the overall customer experience and operational efficiency within the travel project.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive remote team environment by sharing knowledge and best practices to foster collective success.
Who Were Looking For
Language Proficiency:
- Swedish: Native or fluent (C2 level) this is essential for effective communication and consultation with our Swedish-speaking travelers.
- English: Proficient (at least B2 level) needed for internal communication training system navigation and collaborating with international teams.
Skills & Experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English with a strong ability to clearly and concisely explain complex travel information.
- A strong customer-first attitude combined with genuine empathy patience and a real passion for helping people plan their ideal trips.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a systematic approach to efficiently resolve travel inquiries and issues.
- The ability to learn quickly adapt to new booking systems travel products and changing industry rules and customer service best practices.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail for accurate booking and record-keeping in a remote setting.
- Tech-savvy capable of quickly learning and using various internal systems Global Distribution Systems (GDS) CRM software and communication tools.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and within a virtual team maintaining high productivity remotely.
- Previous experience as a Travel Agent Tour Operator or in a similar customer service role within the travel industry is a valuable asset but not mandatory comprehensive training will be provided to the right candidate who demonstrates the right attitude communication skills and eagerness to learn about the travel sector!
- You must currently be based in Bulgaria as this is a fully remote position within the country.
