The Licensed Land Surveyor / Project Manager will play a crucial role in planning organizing and directing the work of surveyors and technicians. This position involves surveying the earths surface to determine precise locations and measurements for various purposes including construction mapmaking and utility locations. The successful candidate will also promote safe work practices among all survey staff and oversee their progress recommending changes as necessary. Additionally this role includes representing the company in meetings and conferences with clients.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities: (Companies ATS Questions):
1. Do you have a High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Do you have 12 years of experience in surveying.
3. Do you have Professional Registered Land Surveyor in Virginia.
4. Do you have a working knowledge of Federal State and local jurisdiction surveying regulations is required.
5. Do you have understanding of survey plan preparation using Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
6. Do you have familiarity with subface utility designating and locating preferred
7. Do you have familiarity with VDOT and Hampton Roads Municipalities preferred
8. Do you have familiarity with aerial mapping LiDAR scanning and sUAS is preferred
9. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
