Job Summary
As a Staff Accountant you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvements in operational efficiency process improvement understanding high-level accounting concepts along with organizing planning implementing and evaluating corresponding company-wide business initiatives.
This role requires onsite attendance in our Carlsbad CA office Monday-Friday.
Position Responsibilities
- Perform full cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely manner ensuring accuracy by review of work.
- Perform general ledger accounting functions including journal entry process review and account reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
- Review financial statements for accuracy and compliance
- Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Prepare documentation to be used internally or by auditors in preparation of comprehensive financial statements.
- Complete special projects and financial analyses as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance preferred
- 0-2 years of accounting experience
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members lead projects and provide solid customer service to clients
- Ability to multi-task work under pressure meet deadlines and work independently
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook ExcelWordand Accounting systems
- Willing to work out of our Carlsbad CA office Monday-Friday.

The starting hourly pay scale for this position is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on factors such as skills qualifications training and experience. In addition the company offers comprehensive benefits including medical dental and vision insurance 401(k) plan with match paid time off and other benefits.
ISCs salary ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.
National Pay Range
$26 - $33 USD
