This role analyzes develops implements and evaluates performance based technical training programs.
Maintains technical subject matter expertise and understanding of current business processes.
Acts as subject matter expert in specific area of technical (operational) expertise.
Successful candidate will need to meet the minimum requirements as shown below:
4 years of experience with a Bachelor degree
6 years of experience with an Associate degree
8 years of experience with a high school/GED
Field experience is a must with a preference for candidates with related work experience and technical aptitude.
Knowledge of company organization and operations areas.
Understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design.
Good verbal written communication skills problem solving skills time management skills and good personal computer skills.
Ability to use all software and hardware applications critical to the target audience (Construction Operations Contractors and Inspectors) and present material in an understandable way to large and small groups.
Ability to analyze and organize information and develop training programs and classes.
Ability to operate troubleshoot GPS and electronic equipment used by the target audience and to train and lead others.
Should be able to process information and questions quickly and develop answers
Grasping kneeling light moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds) reaching above shoulder repetitive motion typing sitting standing visual requirement (able to see screens detect color coding read fine print) hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
Ability to: understand remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines complete routine forms compose letters outlines memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
