Schedule:36 hours/week Open 7 days/week Closed Thanksgiving & Christmas

General Summary

Join our fast-paced mission-driven team at Keystone Urgent Care. We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our patient-focused team. This role supports daily clinical operations by managing essential care coordination tasks in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• Rooming patients and obtaining vitals
• Make and return patient phone calls in coordination with providers
• Track referrals labs and diagnostic results for timely follow-up
• Complete prior authorizations for medications as needed
• Collaborate with clinical team to ensure continuity of care
• Float to assist fellow nurses with patient care and workflow coverage
• Maintain accurate timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
  

Required Credentials (based on position):

LPN applicants:

• Current Pennsylvania LPN license
• Current CPR/BLS certification

MA/CMA applicants:

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Preferred Experience:

• Prior nursing or medical assistant experience in an emergency room or urgent care setting
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)

Key Skills:

• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus
