Job Description

THE POSITION

The Department of Corrections Human Resources Field Office 9 is seeking to fill a Human Resource Assistant 2 position. This position is responsible for the Time Administration Program and coordinates the Sick Parental Family program and Family and Medical Leave Act program (SPF/FMLA) for the State Correctional Institutions (SCI) at Muncy and Coal Township. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this Human Resource Assistant 2 position you will provide specialized direction guidance and analysis regarding time issues to facility timekeepers employees supervisors and managers for SCI Muncy and serve as the back-up for SCI Coal Township. Work involves researching and resolving various problems and provide solutions to payroll questions by using policies and procedures rules and regulations using the SAP system. To coordinate the SPF/FMLA program you will work directly with the SPF/FMLA Central Office to obtain proper documentation monitor situations and input appropriate absent codes as well as answer questions from employees.
