    Substitute Teacher (Southern Nye Schools)
    Pahrump Schools
    On-call
    Funding Source: General Fund
    Rate: $140.00 per dayor $20.00 per hour

    Job Goal:

    To provide instruction in the classroom whenteachers are absent for any of a variety of reasons.

    Qualifications:

    Must pass a reference check and drug and alcohol testing.
    Must obtain a Substitute Teacher License from the Nevada Department of Education:
    • Applicants must have 60 college credits to be eligible for a Certified Substitute Teacher license.
    • Applicants who have not earned 60 college credits must have a HS diploma or equivalent to be eligible for an Emergency Substitute Teacher license.
    • Must complete two days of classroom observations.

    This vacancy is for Southern Nye Schools (Pahrump Schools only). Northern Nye applicants will not be considered for this vacancy.
