What youll be doing
As a Senior DevOps Consultant you will be joining CIBCs SPT (Shared Platform Technologies) and ECIS (Enterprise Customer Information System) to assist in accelerating our transformation and optimizing the way we develop and deliver code to bring high value to our clients. You will collaborate with partners in application development quality assurance operations infrastructure and business across various technology groups to deliver high-quality products.

Youll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where youll spend 1-3 days per week on-site while other days will be remote.
How youll succeed
Strategy and Roadmap- Contribute to governance & audit roadmaps that are aligned with the banks vision strategy and business objectives.
Stakeholder Management- Work closely with various stakeholders to address compliance gaps. Develop and maintain corporate governance framework policies and procedures.
Relationship Building- Serve as a liaison between management auditors and regulatory bodies.
Leveraging Technology- Become a technology expert by ensure that ECIS adheres to statutory regulatory and industry standards.
Who you are
You can demonstrate experience: 7 years of experience working in IT industry with preferred background in Java/Python/NodeJS development and Middleware administration of available environment. You have a strong understanding of DevOps concepts/methodologies principles and tools (IBM UrbanCode Ansible) as well as CI/CD toolset. You have previous experience of containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes) and have strong scripting skills (Bash Python & Go). You have experience in monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus Grafana Dynatrace) and have built a dashboard for large scale applications. You understand cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud) and their services.
