As aFood Services Assistant youll be part of an experienced engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming professional and supportive care experience for the residents of our St Vincents Care Services Bronte facility.

St Vincents Care Services Bronteis a boutique facility located in one of Sydneys beautiful beachside neighbourhoods. Our 107-bed facility offers a high standard of holistic care as well as specialist dementia accommodation.

Things that work for us:

• Previous experience in a similar role

• Experience in an aged care facility or hospital environment desirable providing services that support high quality food services outcomes for residents customers and staff of the Facility

• High level of customer service skills

• Flexibility to work morning &/or afternoon shifts across the week

• Willingness to work in the kitchen or on serving completing wash-up duties unloading deliveries &/or whatever is required to provide an excellent food service for our residents.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

• An ability to provide a catering and kitchen service that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of our organisation and food safety standards

• An ability to work within a multidisciplinary team

• An understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities

• Current flu and COVID-19 vaccinations and National Police Certificate

• NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
