Physician Assistant OBGYN Permanent Role Location: Garland TX 75044
Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Guaranteed: 40 Hours
Compensation: Based on experience
Essential Functions of the Role: - Perform comprehensive or focused physical exams and medical histories to assess patients physical and mental conditions.
- Order interpret and evaluate diagnostic and lab tests to determine patient needs.
- Prescribe or recommend appropriate medications or therapeutic treatments in accordance with policy.
- Develop and implement outcome-based patient treatment plans using evidence-based medicine.
- Monitor and evaluate patients responses to treatments and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Educate and counsel patients and families on treatment plans medication nutrition and preventive health.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Refer patients appropriately when conditions fall outside scope of practice.
- Provide specialized consultation services and assist in inpatient or emergency care settings.
- May perform invasive procedures and surgical support duties under physician delegation.
- Participate in pre- and post-operative care hospital rounds and emergency consults as needed.
- May be required to provide additional coverage based on departmental needs.

Qualifications: - Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Experience: New graduates may apply (Less than 1 year required).
Licensure/Certification:
- Current PA License in the State of Texas.
- NCCPA Certification (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants).
- BLS Certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
