Job Description
Physician Assistant-Surgery Permanent Role
- Location: Fort Worth TX 76104
- Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Guaranteed: 40 Hours
- Compensation: Based on experience.
- Perform comprehensive or focused physical exams and medical histories.
- Assess patients physical and mental health conditions.
- Order collect interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests and lab work.
- Prescribe or recommend drug therapies and therapeutic treatments.
- Perform indicated procedures in line with approved protocols.
- Formulate and implement evidence-based outcomes-focused treatment plans.
- Evaluate and document patient responses and treatment effectiveness.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions medications and lifestyle changes.
- Counsel patients about medication regimens side effects and interactions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic and treatment techniques.
- Familiarity with drug interactions and preventive care.
- Proficiency in communication and interpersonal interaction.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Skilled in using healthcare software and medical technology.
- Ability to develop effective treatment and care plans.
- Confident in counseling on medical/mental health conditions and lifestyle modification.
- Capable of interpreting complex diagnostic results.
- Education: Graduate of an Accredited Physician Assistant Program.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required including vein harvesting experience.
Licensure/Certification:
- Physician Assistant (PA) License-State of Texas (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)-Must be obtained within 30 days of hire/transfer
- NCCPA Certification-Current and valid.
