Junior Accountant (Remote)
Location: Remote
Compensation: $1500/month full-time)

About the Role
A premier luxury resort and marina in the Bahamas is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their remote finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to support a high-end hospitality business with accounting operations while working from anywhere in the world.
This role starts at 20 30 hours per week with the potential to scale to full-time based on performance and business needs. Youll support general ledger management financial clean-up and a variety of recurring accounting tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- General ledger accounting and transaction posting
- Bank credit card and balance sheet reconciliations
- Clean-up and organization of financial records
- Trial balance reviews and posting of adjustments
- Prepaid schedules and monthly journal entries
- Back-office admin support and financial documentation
- Close collaboration with internal finance staff
Qualifications
- Proven experience with QuickBooks Online
- Familiarity with CloudBeds or hospitality-based accounting platforms (preferred)
- Accounting degree or equivalent experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- English fluency for internal communication (not client-facing)
- Ability to work independently across time zones
- Minimum 40 WPM typing speed
- Comfortable navigating dynamic priorities and tight deadlines
