Position Description:Prepare for the delivery of appropriate instruction in accordance with department goals and objectives following proven procedures.
- Use methods of instruction that are welcoming motivating and supporting.
- Cooperate with intra and extra department efforts to integrate instruction
- Attend curriculum development meetings.
- Participate in activities that promote the best interest of our students and our school.
- Engage in professional development programs to keep current with modern pedagogy.
- Maintain decorum and control of assigned students for the purposes of enhancing learning and insuring a safe and healthful environment in the classroom and throughout the school.
- Abide by school procedures rules and directives.
- Utilize school support services as needed.
- The candidate must be able to inspire excellence achieve consensus and respond effectively to the systems mission with humor and enthusiasm.
Position Requirements -Qualifications:
- Possess successful background which insures capabilities to succeed as an instructor in the field of expertise.
- Demonstrate characteristics which clearly indicate an ability to relate positively to students and colleagues.
- Possess a clear sense of purpose as it pertains to teaching young people who attend this school.
- Possess a personal history which is exemplary supported with references.
- Strive to complete sixty (60) hours of professional development each year.
- Possess a current license in trade area.
