Inventory Control Clerk

Summary/Objective

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for all aspects of inventory within the Customer Center as well as incoming and outgoing deliveries and shipments in accordance with established processes and procedures including safety and quality. The position maintains and reports accurate monthly inventory counts aiding the annual review. The Inventory Control Clerk helps with other needs through organizing cleaning and cataloging items shop supply ordering the building of pallets skids and crates and management of the outside scrap and wood accumulation.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Manage outgoing inventory physically to technicians and outside servicevendors.
• Organize physicalinventory.
• Complete ROG process physically
• Help with outgoingshipments.
• Obtain and process orders including receiving deliveries registering them and distributing packages and letters within the location.
• Maintain the Customer Center through organizing cleaning and cataloging items on a regular basis.
• Solve issues arising in shipping or inventory handling.
• Place merchandise in appropriate area - packaging unpackaging lifting items as necessary operating equipment as needed for large goods.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensure that items are properly shipped.
• Complete needed paperwork and documentation per specification.
• Treat truck drivers with courteous and friendly customer service answering questions and addressing concerns
• Adhere to environmental management and systems.
• Adhere to all safety quality and company rules and procedures
• Participate in productionmeetings.
• Promote Customer Focus throughout thecompany.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

• High school degree or equivalent certification

An equivalent combination of education and/or experience that provides an applicant with the listed knowledge skills and abilities required to perform the essential functions of the job may be accepted.

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing industry preferred.

Physical Demands

• Stand walk sit talk hear type and write.
• Reach with hands and arms bend stand on a stool or climb and use fingers and hands to feel objects tools or controls.
• Use standard office equipment such as computers smart phones printers photocopiers etc.
• Lift files and open desk drawers and filing cabinets.
• Lift 50-100 pounds.

Safety

• Complete safety training requirements.
• Participate in other training as directed by the company or manager.
• Wear Nikkiso approved PPE as needed.
• Report all potential and real safety issues.
