The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Senior Facilities Multi-Services Managers (Level L) within the Manufacturing Operations Support and Logistics (MOS&L) organization supporting the 737 Commercial Airplane Program based out of Renton and Seattle Washington on first second or third shift.
Manages employee and first-level management activities within the facilities occupation including facilities planning analysis project administration property administration facilities provisioning engineering construction and Plant & Equipment maintenance. Develops and executes integrated departmental plans policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies goals objectives. Acquires resources for department activities provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers business partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes. Participates in equipment make/buy decisions. Participates in source selection; provides technical oversight and integrates supplier activities. Manages develops and motivates employees and first-level managers. Leads with Boeing values of Mutual trust and respect.
The successful candidate will lead work teams with a varied work statement including Equipment Services Motive Operations Crane Operations Airplane Assist Shim and Router shops Tooling shops Production Assist NW Dispatch Center Innovation Center and many more.
This position will require working any shift. The manager candidate will be flexible to work across all shifts for future assignments special projects and overtime as needed based on our business needs.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop and execute road map for their organization.
Develop and implement policies and procedures and sets operational goals
Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management and leads process improvements
Follows and implements the Boeing Production System
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers business partners and direct reports
Manages develops and motivates employees utilizing the Boeing Production System
Mentor teams
using the Boeing problem solving
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 years of experience in Aerospace Fabrication or manufacturing environment
3 years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
3 years of experience leading project teams to meet project objectives and deliverables
Willingness and ability to work any shift
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Associates degree or higher in Logistics Product Delivery Facilities Management Industrial Manufacturing Project Management Automotive Repair Maintenance and Construction Fields
3 years of experience using Boeing Production System (BPS)
3 years of experience teaching coaching and developing others
Experience in material handling flight line operations and/or delivery logistics
Experience using Computerized Dispatching Maintenance Scheduling Inventory Software Systems
