Manager Sales Support - AmeriBen

Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week fostering collaboration and connectivity while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate Elevance Health PulsePoint locations may be considered.

AmeriBen is a proud member of the Elevance Health family of companies. We are a third-party administrator (TPA) of medical benefits also providing medical management services.

The Manager Sales Support is responsible for managing client facing staff that provide ongoing support to external clients. Supports efforts to build robust relationships with brokers and clients. Provides oversight for annual renewal activity and ongoing issue resolution.

How you will make an impact:

  • Supports activities associated with AmeriBens growth and retention strategies.
  • Responsible for a team of Employer Service Reps while ensuring accountability and collaboration.
  • Ensures policy and procedure continuity.
  • Identifies and implements best practices including problem solving and improvement process and training and development.
  • Supports client facing escalations and assists with developing resolution outcomes.
  • Provides oversight and supports Sales Support projects.
  • Analyzes production activities and maintains records and monthly reports.
  • Coordinates researching of product and processing issues.
  • Hires trains coaches counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the health insurance or related industry including significant experience in at least one area such as Operations Sales Service or Account Management; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Previous experience in a people leadership role highly preferred.
  • Strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skills preferred.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare insurance client facing accounting management role highly preferred.
