Job Summary
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAP Consultant to join our team. This position combines key contact for our global plants into the central group IT with global tasks and integration in our global solution teams. As an Consultant you will play a crucial role in supporting our IT projects providing expert advice implementing system configurations and ensuring smooth operations in these key functional areas.

YOUR TASKS

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Lead IT projects for MTU joint Venture in the environment of the central supplied functions and systems ensuring successful implementation and alignment with strategic IT goals.
  • Participate in global digitization projects driving innovation standardization and process improvement.
  • Analyze requirements and configure standard functionalities in the locally used SAP modules and products.
  • Provide guidance to departments on system selection and process design.
  • Support the maintenance support and implementation of new requirements.
  • Provide second level user and system support for relevant products and modules.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand business needs and translate them into effective IT-solutions.
  • Work closely with the SAP development team to implement technical concepts and customizations.

YOUR PROFILE

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in (Business) Informatics or related field. Masters degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in SAP projects with specific expertise in Maintenance Repair and Overhaul. Additional expertise in Production Planning and Control would be beneficial.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP functionalities and customization options in CS. Additional knowledge of PS would be beneficial.
  • Project management experience and the ability to lead and drive IT projects.
  • Familiarity with SAP interface technologies such as IDoc BAPI and RFC would be beneficial.
  • Experience in debugging ABAP programs would be beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in English both written and spoken. German language skills would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel ability to work in a team and a high level of commitment.
  • Willingness to work across time zones and continents.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
