You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailHanover High School is seeking a dynamic music instructor to lead our band jazz band and pep band. This position is 0.8 to 1.0 FTE. Additionally there is also the possibility to teach electronic music a pop rock ensemble and guitar as well as to possibly be the coordinator of the Music department. The additional responsibility will be determined by the strengths of the candidate and the needs of the department. Position begins 8/25/2025 open until filled.
This position is governed by theHEA Union Agreement.
Salary range for this position is $54456 to $111981depending on education and experience.

General Purpose:
The classroom teacher is responsible for the education of each pupil in his/her charge and for working with students parents other teachers and staff toward achieving the goals set forth by the district.

Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree
Necessary Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of child and adolescent development
Knowledge of testing instruments and their application to the academic setting
Knowledge of research based instructional interventions
Ability to collaborate with professionals parents and community
Awareness of applicable state Administrative Rules and Regulations
LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Applicable State Certification (or Statement of Eligibility from applicable agency )
Highly Qualified status or equivalent
