Job Description

Position:Security MonitorLocation:Stacy Middle SchoolSchedule:2025-2026 School Year (plus additional extracurricular activities)Reports To:Principal/Associate and Assistant Principal(s)Salary:Starting at $25350To Start:August 2025Qualifications: College graduate with post-graduate experience preferred or training in computer technology military security leadership communications public relations video surveillance monitoring and/or police :Conduct daily building security checks and report any security breaches to the Building Administration and/or in lockdowns and other security procedures as supervision within the building and on school grounds including common areas hallways and parking with the school resource officer on issues related to security vandalism trespassing unlawful entry theft violence and other routine building walk-throughs throughout the day develop walk-through procedures and create appropriate reporting forms for Administrators and resource officers with locker searches student supervision and investigations as and monitor dances and extracurricular activities as in-house suspension as Saturday school as needed. Provide the Principal with detailed school safety reports of theft vandalism and security breaches as assigned by the video surveillance upon request from the Administration report any malfunctions and make recommendations for effectively with staff and training in de-escalation techniques to manage situations calmly and effectively.
