The role of the Art Teacher is to plan organize and implement an appropriate comprehensive instructional program in a supportive and collaborative learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic social and emotional potential. - Implements arts curriculum for grades K-8- Provides engaging teaching of the fundamental skills appropriate to the content area taught- Differentiates instruction to meet the learning needs of all students- Paces instruction in order to effectively meet the standards for each grade/content area taught- Utilizes a multitude of teaching modalities to engage students in instruction- Works as a member of the Co-Curricular department- Provides coverage and assists with arrival dismissal lunch and recessBFCCPS opened in 1995 as one of the first Charter Schools in Massachusetts.
