The Sr. Technical Program Manager will serve as the central driver of complex cross-functional software development programs at Moderna. Operating at the intersection of strategy execution and technical leadership this individual contributor will coordinate program timelines align stakeholders and ensure seamless delivery across engineering product and operations. With a strong command of Agile methodologies and a sharp eye for risk management the Sr. TPM will play a pivotal role in accelerating Modernas mission through technology

This position is based in Warsaw and is ideally suited for someone eager to work at the forefront of digital health transformation with an opportunity to work closely with cutting-edge generative AI tools and platforms.

Heres What Youll Do

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Leading end-to-end technical program execution from scope definition through to delivery ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Collaborating closely with engineering product and operational teams to define requirements and implement scalable solutions.

  • Managing program timelines resources dependencies and risks to enable successful project outcomes.

  • Acting as the primary liaison for program status communicating regularly with senior leadership and global stakeholders.

  • Implementing Agile practices and iterating on process improvements to drive execution velocity.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Cultivating accountability visibility and clear communication across multiple teams and time zones.

  • Optimizing the use of program tools technologies and reporting structures to streamline delivery.

  • Ensuring robust risk mitigation strategies are in place and actively resolving delivery challenges or bottlenecks.

  • Managing program-level budgeting and resource allocation with a focus on value-driven delivery.

  • Championing opportunities to integrate advanced technologies including generative AI to accelerate digital transformation and patient impact.

Heres What Youll Need (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent professional experience.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience managing complex technical programs or software development projects.

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in an Agile environment with expertise in program management tools (e.g. Jira Confluence Smartsheet).

  • Strong technical background with an understanding of software development processes including CI/CD cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure) and modern software architectures.

  • Experience managing program schedules budgets and resources across multiple concurrent projects.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Heres What Youll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Masters Degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.

  • Experience in the biotech healthcare or life sciences industries.

  • Experience managing large-scale global programs with multiple dependencies and stakeholders.

  • Proven success in implementing process improvements and scaling operations in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis capacity planning and risk management.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build consensus and drive decision-making across teams.
