The Role
- Design source and implement tooling fixtures and production equipment to enhance manufacturing performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in fabrication painting and assembly processes
- Support existing production processes to meet safety quality and cost targets
- Use CAD software to produce technical drawings
- Manage and maintain BOMs and process documentation
- Develop route timings and process flow maps to drive efficiency
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support lean manufacturing projects
The Person
- Degree in Engineering or 5 years of industrial experience in production/manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing setting
- Proficient in problem-solving tools (e.g. Root Cause Analysis) and lean methodologies
- Experience with process mapping takt time and cycle time analysis
- Skilled in CAD packages and familiar with ERP/MRP systems
