Responsibilities

Your Journey as an Administrator in Residency:

  • Hands-On Experience: Gain invaluable hands-on experience honing your ability to organize the facilitys functions through efficient departmentalization and delegation.
  • Resource Stewardship: Understand the vital importance of controlling and optimizing physical and financial resources effectively.
  • Policy & Procedure Expertise: Develop the skills to implement policies and procedures that ensure safety efficiency and the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Learn to review and act upon reports maintaining compliance with the highest standards.
  • Financial Acumen: Master responsible accounting practices including budget management and internal controls ensuring the centers financial health.
  • Community Engagement: Discover the art of creating an effective public relations program that fosters trust and support within the community.
  • Ongoing Education: Commit to continuous learning in healthcare administration and management staying at the forefront of industry best practices.
  • Team Building: Develop the skills to recruit select and nurture department managers enabling their growth and development.

Qualifications

  • Position will be based in a Diversicare center with an active Preceptors Certification.
  • Newly Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in AL preferred
  • Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred
  • Must be willing to relocate within the states Diversicare operates
  • Applicants must meet the state education and experience requirements to participate in Diversicares Administrator in Residency Program
  • Applicants must be of good moral character and physically able to perform duties
  • Must have excellent people skills and be able to engage and connect with guests families team members and other leaders.
  • Proven ability to utilize strong cognitive skills including problem analysis decision making and financial analysis.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the center
