Reports to: Building Principal and Evaluation Team Supervisor
Terms of Employment: Paraprofessional Staff with benefits according to the LEA Unit C collective bargaining agreement.
August 25 2025 start date.
33.75 hours per week. $29.86 - $39.19 per hour.
Starting in the 2025-2026 school year in placing an individual on a salary schedule credit will be given for full-time experience in public schools or approved private schools provided that such experience took place in the last ten (10) years. New hires shall not be placed in the gray boxes on the salary scale meaning Step 5 ($32.97 per hour) is the highest step a new hire can be placed on.
Organizational Scope:
A member of the Department of Special Education this position reports directly to the building Principal and to the Director of Special Education while working under the direction of the special educator teacher.

Job Qualifications:
BS or BA/ Preferred Highly Qualified as Paraprofessional according to DOE standards. Must be willing and able to physically manage students if needed. Classroom experience and college degree preferred.
