Job Description
Amazon is looking for a dynamic Senior Financial Analyst to join our Operations Product Development (OPD) Central FP&A team. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a high-profile team working closely with executives and collaborating across various Product Finance and horizontal teams.
As a Senior Financial Analyst you will drive financial analysis and reporting for key business initiatives develop and maintain complex financial models provide strategic insights to support decision-making perform compliance controllership communicate financial results and projections to senior leadership and identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.

Key job responsibilities
- Business partnering and presenting financial summaries and business insights to senior management
- Developing scalable and efficient financial processes as well as automation that support the business
- Deriving meaningful insights and recommendations from large data sets
- Tracking initiatives that span multiple business functions
- Coordinating and supporting forecast planning and month-end close processes
- Performing compliance controllership
- Leading ad hoc financial analyses and projects
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field
- 3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3 years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- MBA or CPA
- 3 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
