You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThis position will be responsible for coordinating collaborative projects to expand and sustain behavioral health suicide prevention and crisis efforts across the state. The Behavioral Health Training Specialist will work as a team member and subject matter expert for the Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health (CEBH) housed within the Center for Disabilities and Development (CDD). Responsibilities include facilitating trainings relating but not limited to behavioral health suicide prevention and/or crisis; coordinating training initiatives; providing technical assistance; developing supplemental training materials; and conducting process improvement and evaluate instructional functions.
This is a specified term position through 9/30/2025 with strong likelihood of renewed funding.
This position is eligible fora remote work within Iowa and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment. Per policy work arrangements will be reviewed annually and must comply with the remote work program and related policiesandemployee travel policy when working at a remote location.
