HVAC/R Instructor
Job Description
The Leominster Public Schools is in need of a Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (HVAC/R) Instructor for the Center for Technical Education innovation Chapter 74 HVAC/R Vocational Program.
Reports to: Building Administration Principal/Director & the Asst. Principal/Co-op Coordinator
Expectations:
This individual is accountable for the teaching supervision training and certifications of students under their direction in the HVAC/R shop.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the implementation of departmental curriculum objectives based on State of
Massachusetts VTE frameworks in HVAC
2. Responsible for the integration of theHVAC/R Departments curriculum.
3. Responsible for assuring equal educational opportunity to all individuals regardless of race color

homelessness or disability.
4. Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Possession of Section 608 EPA Certification at the Universal Level.
- Advanced industry preparation in service technician experience in heating ventilation andair conditioning field.
Preferred Qualifications:
1) MA DESE Chapter 74 HVAC license 9-14
2) Human relations skill set
3) Competent in computer applications
4) Candidates who are licensed in another state will be considered. (Must possess the equivalent
license from another state and must have documented proof of working under that license for
at least three school years). Candidates will need to apply for and pay for the DESE license as
a condition of employment.
