The Contracts Logistics Center (CLC) eLogistics Manager is a frontline leader for the North American CLC eLogistics teams in Florence SC. The CLC eLogistics team is responsible for eLogistics user support and eLogistics product and cost administration. The CLC eLogistics Manager supports many facets of the Otis organization including factory sales and installation. The CLC eLogistics Manager will be based at our North American manufacturing facility in Florence SC working in a hybrid setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing objectives for direct reports and ensuring the duties responsibilities and accountability of all direct reports are defined and understood
- Ensuring timeliness and accuracy of output to support task/project delivery expectations
- Monitoring team performance and providing regular feedback
- Assisting with employee development and training
- Driving results by managing through the team and utilizing team strengths
- Driving continuous improvement processes and initiatives within the team Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and upholding company values ethics mission and vision
What You Will Need to be Successful:
- Bachelors degree required
- Have experience in the elevator industry and familiarity with elevator components
- Demonstrate the ability to design and build productivity tools.
- Exemplify knowledge of database design techniques.
- Have 5 years work experience in a manufacturing environment including knowledge of project management tooling materials and machining processes
- Excellent organizational time management and problem-solving skills
- Focused on delivering results
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Experience with SQL and/or HTML programming
- Ability to read engineering documents
- A self-motivated personality
- Well organized and attentive to details
- Effective Leader
- Excellent communicator
- Dedicated to process improvement
- Able to work in cross-functional and global teams respect individual differences and welcome diverse thinking
- Working knowledge of database design techniques
- Cost accounting experience
- Experience with the eLog and JD Edwards software
- BI reporting experience
