Job Description
Production Manager Lloydminster Area
Our client is in search of a humbly confident motivated Production Manager/Foreman to join their team in the building of quality ag/oilfield equipment shelters and facilities. The site is located 45 minutes outside Lloydminster.
Position: Full-time permanent
Compensation: $32/hr $38/hr starting depending on qualifications
Benefits: Health benefits after 3 months
Vacation: 3 weeks
Monday Friday
Responsibilities include:
Oversee processes and workflow ensuring efficient production quality control and adherence to budgets and deadlines while also managing and motivating the production team.
Manage inventory and ensure adequate resources (materials labor equipment) are available to meet production needs.
Provide pricing reports quotes and management of product delivery in and out of site.
Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet specifications.
Manage lead motivate and supervise production staff to achieve goals.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Organize and communicate effectively with other departments building maintenance and sales staff to ensure a smooth workflow.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures for the entire staff grounds and shops.
Qualifications:
Previous management experience with a get it done positive and respectful attitude.
Blend of technical managerial and interpersonal skills including strong leadership professionalism problem-solving communication and organizational abilities to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
Honesty and integrity adaptable willingness to learn and seek understanding.
Clean drivers abstract with reliable vehicle.
Computer literate.
Previous experience in welding reading blueprints design or carpentry would be an asset.
