Here is your opportunity to join Amazons Transportation Legal team and help build products and services that our customers will love!
We are looking for a smart motivated and creative commercial attorney to support our rapidly growing and evolving transportation and logistics businesses. You will be responsible for structuring drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and for independently and effectively solving a broad range of commercial and regulatory issues. You will work directly with the business serving as lead counsel on strategic deals providing day-to-day advice resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handling pre-litigation disputes and inquiries. You will develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative business-centric ways and you will build processes that address risk and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly.
As you will be working with central business teams that develop and manage programs that are leveraged globally some travel domestic and international may be required.
- 5 years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
