Description

ADI Global is searching for a qualified Facilities Maintenance Leader to ensure our buildings and grounds are clean and safe. The Facilities Supervisor oversees all aspects of building functions and guarantees the safety and functionality of all facilities. Duties include running routine safety inspections corresponding with contractors planning maintenance work maintaining records as well as managing our store and DC racking & shelving needs. Our ideal candidate is well-versed in facilities management processes and exhibits high multitasking and organizational abilities.

JOB DUTIES:

Facility Operations & Maintenance

Oversee daily operations and maintenance of all Charlotte-based facilities.

Coordinate with vendors and contractors for HVAC electrical plumbing janitorial security and other services.

Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules.

Oversee the facility budget ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality or safety.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure facility complies with health safety and environmental regulations

Implement necessary protocols to maintain a safe working environment

Support mitigation/management of emergency situations and incidents

Vendor Coordination:

Collect bids requests for proposal and coordinate contractors and service providers.

Ensure timely and quality maintenance and repair work.

Stakeholder Communication & Project Management

Liaise regularly with site leaders to identify escalate and resolve facility-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Lead and manage small- to mid-scale projects required to address facility concerns including planning scheduling and coordinating resources.

Ensure clear communication and alignment between facilities operations and leadership teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Racking Procurement & Store Support

Lead the procurement and logistics of racking systems and assorted store displays for new store build-outs and relocations.

Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery and installation.

Maintain inventory and standardization of racking components.

Team & Vendor Coordination

Supervise on-site maintenance staff and coordinate with third-party service providers.

YOU MUST HAVE:

5 years of experience in facilities management preferably in a distribution or technical environment.

Strong knowledge of building systems maintenance procedures and safety regulations.

Experience managing procurement processes and vendor relationships.

Excellent organizational communication and project management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

WE VALUE:

Familiarity with warehouse racking systems and logistics planning.

OSHA certification or facilities management credentials (e.g. FMP CFM).

Certification(s) from the from the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) such as a Certified Facility Manager (CFM)

Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure that facilities are maintained to a high standard

Proficient knowledge of HVAC electrical plumbing fire safety and security systems

Sound written and verbal communication skills are vital for interacting with staff leadership and vendors

The ability to identify analyze and resolve issues quickly and effectively

Experience in managing budgets tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities

Ability to plan organize and execute projects efficiently and effectively while prioritizing multiple tasks

A can do attitude and the ability to provide excellent customer service to and build positive relationships with staff vendors and other stakeholders
