What we look for

We have an exciting opportunity for a PMO Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract or secondment basis.

You will report to the Portfolio PMO and Tooling Manager.

You will support a range of planning reporting and analysis activities to proactively aid effective management and delivery of programmes and projects

This is a hybrid module opportunity with two Leeds or London office days a week.

What being a PMO Analyst involves:

Assigned to a nominated programme or project accountabilities could include leading and/or supporting:

  • Ensuring expectations of the DLG Change Journey and associated Change Standards are met

  • Producing regular reporting

  • Financial forecasting tracking and management

  • 3rd party procurement and payment activities

  • Producing and maintaining quality programme / project plans

  • Tracking and managing risks issues change requests and dependencies

  • Ensuring appropriate governance is in place and that quality assurance is conducted

  • Programme / project health checks and post-implementation reviews

  • Producing stakeholder updates insights and decision support material

  • Governance forums including ensuring key artefacts are produced maintained and stored

  • Maintaining accurate resource forecasts

Identifying and implementing opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement

Pro-actively demonstrating required behaviours in line with expectations of the role

Skills & Qualities youll need:

  • Some experience of working as part of a PMO team (Portfolio or Programme/Project)

  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal) Service oriented adaptable and resilient

  • Experience and hands on knowledge of a variety of delivery methodologies e.g. Waterfall and Agile an advantage

  • Strong attention to detail quality and control

  • Willingness and an enthusiastic attitude to learn and build new skills

  • Ability to work on own initiative

  • Good relationship-building skills

  • Ability to develop new skills and understand new technology as required

  • Some experience in using project management and collaboration tools such as Polarisofts PPMAnywhere MS Project Microsoft Office suite especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint and SharePoint

Working Hours: 35 hours per week
