POSITION TITLE: Food Service Site Manager (Elementary Middle School High School)
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt Level 9 - Elementary Level 15 - Middle School Level 21 - High School 9-month Work Calendar (Salary based on approved Classified Support Staff Schedule)
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: To plan direct implement and evaluate food service to students and staff.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: (essential functions)
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Knowledge of child nutrition program requirements.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations as it applies to food preparation and service.
Knowledge of supervisory practices and techniques.
Knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and software applications.
Skill in cooking serving food and maintaining a healthy environment.
Skill in applying health and safety regulations to a food service environment.
Skill in supervising training and assigning work to others.
Skill in operating computer hardware and software applications.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Able to perform the following physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation: critical sensory requirements include general vision corrected to 20/20 hear or listen in the normal range (corrected) and speak and give directions clearly. Able to walk stand kneel crouch crawl reach lift (exerting force up to 50 pounds) carry push pull or otherwise move objects. May be subject to extreme temperatures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED and five (5) years food service management experience OR an equipment combination or education and experience that provides the required knowledge and skills.
REQUIRED LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Arizona Safe Food Handling Certificate (Manager Level).
