Job Description
As an integral part of Propel Pharmacy LLC the Pharmacist drives pharmacy operations to ensure a seamless patient experience. As a Pharmacist you are dedicated to delivering a high-quality level of care and will lead key operational efforts at Propel Pharmacy LLC Syracuse. **Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. An annual incentive plan and stock options may be provided as part of the compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits dependent on the position offered.
Essential Duties
- Comprehensive review and verification of prescription orders for accuracy and completeness
- Perform clinical utilization reviews and implement quality control measures to ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medications
- Provide consultations and assist with medication information questions as requested by patients and providers
- Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians workflow
- Complies with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy the drug enforcement administration and the food and drug administration
- Participate in departmental continuous improvement efforts lead projectsand engage and communicate cross-functionally with other teams to improve our internal processes
- Other duties as assigned
What you bring to the role
- At least 1-2 years of recent pharmacy experience in a high volume setting
- Adaptable flexible and thrive in dynamic fast-paced and high growth environments
- Analytical creative and can leverage data to make thoughtful and informed decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate a passion for the Thirty Madison mission of expanding access to healthcare
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Current unrestricted pharmacist license in New York
- Thirty Madison requires all prospective pharmacy employees who are extended an offer of employment to submit to a drug test
Physical Requirements
- Manual dexterity arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day.
- Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person communication 7-8 hours per day.
- Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor.
- Ability to sit or stand at a desk for 7-8 hours per day.
- Ability to lift 50-60lbs.
