Systems Integration Engineer
The proposed salary range for this position is: $63800 - 127500 USD

The Opportunity:
* Work on a small team to develop maintain and improve existing software systems
* Execute the research engineering and development of solutions to support operational capabilities
* Optimize legacy operational software systems as necessary to meet continuously evolving cyber security requirements
* Apply system level knowledge (OS and hardware) to be able to diagnose issues and provide solutions
* Work on infrastructure for our customer that provides pre-mission configuration management and post-mission data
workflows to support the war fighter.
Responsibilities:
* Refine and enhance existing applications to best meet customer/operational requirements
* Develop and maintain user and administrative documentation to meet customer contract requirements
* Periodically travel onsite to integrate operational systems and updates
* Profile analyze and optimize legacy software system operating system and security hardening requirements
Qualifications: (Please have the following requirements listed on resume before submitting for position)
Required:
* Bachelors (or higher) degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related technical field or other relevant
experience
* Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
* Solid Linux system and scripting experience with Python Bash and/or Ansible
* Basic understanding of software complex design concepts patterns tools and best practices
* Basic understanding of virtualization and configuring hypervisor software
* Basic understanding of computer networking and common networking equipment
Desired:
* Active TS/SCI Clearance
* Some experience with a popular CI/CD system such as GitHub Actions GitLab Pipelines Jenkins or CircleCI
* Basic understanding of software complex design concepts distributed systems networking patterns tools and best
practices
* Familiarity with device boot processes such as BIOS UEFI and PXE boot capabilities
* Familiarity with NVIDIA GPU virtualization
* Familiarity with Metal-as-a-Service metasystems such as OpenShift
