The Kimbell Art Museum offers paid part-time Library internship to undergraduate and graduate students as well as recent graduates who are interested in learning about museum practices and developing professional skills.
The Kimbell internship program is designed to mentor future museum professionals from diverse cultural economic social and educational backgrounds. Interns are assigned to departments based on their academic background professional skills interests and goals. Under the supervision of designated staff members interns work both independently and collaboratively to gain comprehensive experience through immersive projects.
Library interns participate at a professional level in ongoing library activities building a comprehensive understanding of practices terms and trends specific to museum librarianship. In collaboration with library staff interns will develop and implement a term project that both supports the librarys activities and aligns with their professional and educational goals.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
