What you will do:
As a Buying Operations Coordinator you will play a critical role in ensuring on time delivery of our products by managing our inbound operations. Working closely with suppliers internal teams and logistics partners you will support production planning and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality goods. This is a hands-on role that requires strong organizational skills a detail-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ensure on time purchase order placements by coordinating seasonal production timelines with our Italian manufacturers.
- Manage and take full responsibility for all aspects of production data preparation including product data uploads across systems verifying specifications coordinating EAN codes managing barcode label creation and collaborating on packaging and labeling to ensure cross-departmental alignment.
- Coordinate the full inbound process from factory to warehouse including shipping documentation overage/underage checks and coordination of timely deliveries.
- Independently addressing inbound delays and escalating critical issues to all stakeholders within appropriate lead time.
- Serve as a key contact for Italian manufacturing partners providing timely updates documentation and resolving day-to-day operational issues.
- Work closely with Product Development Merchandising Operation & Fulfillment teams to ensure seamless product for both our channels D2C and B2B.
- Maintain and improve delivery performance dashboards and tracking tools.
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data in all reporting systems.
What you will bring:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Fashion Management or related field
- 23 years of experience in fashion production ideally in shoe production working with Italien manufacturers
- Familiarity with ERP/PLM systems and strong proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Strong analytical skill
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Italian speaking (native) and fluent in English
- A team player with a hands-on mentality and an eye for detail
- Passion for fashion craftsmanship and sustainable production
