Keystone Advisors is looking for a SeniorAccountantII/Audit Specialist to support the United States Air Force in Colorado Springs Colorado.
Must have a Secret Security Clearance.
Education and Experience: This position requires a bachelors degree and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience; or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) or masters degree and three (3) years of relevant experience. Functional Duties: This individual is responsible for the technical design and integration of risk management and internal control programs ensuring compliance with governing frameworks. The Audit Specialist will:
Lead the integration of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) into the Internal Control Program.
Ensure SpOC compliance with DAF A-123 in conjunction with the Risk Management and Internal Control Program (RMIC).
Manage the quarterly Statement of Assurance submissions process.
Lead efforts to develop a sound ERM program in line with DAFs goals.
Provide training and education to the IPA specifically on business process controls under audit.
Assist in discussions with the IPA on matters related to ERM internal controls and risk.
Facilitate walkthroughs of audit processes and facilitate the exchange of audit samples and supporting documentation.
Document meeting minutes decision points action items and requests for documentation during communications with the IPA.
Assist government personnel by providing timely quality reviews of KSDs and other responses before final approval.
Support the development of meeting agendas and briefing materials.
