Intermediate District 287 serves students in grades K-12 as well as transition age students (18-22 years old) from our 12 member districts in the west metro area. Our district offers a wide range of services and specialized programs primarily focused on setting IV special education that is designed to meet the diverse needs of our students. - Minimum starting salary: $79000 annually

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of five years experience coordinating literacy at the site or district level.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a leadership role
- Experience planning implementing and evaluating district wide initiatives and professional learning
- Prior experience coordinating strategies aimed at improving literacy strategies and practices.
- LETRS/OL&LA/CAREIALL Certification or Certified Facilitator
- Masters Degree in Literacy Education Leadership Curriculum and Instruction or related field preferred.

- Minnesota teacher or professional license or related field
- Special Education Licensure
- K-12 Reading License
- School administrator license preferred (principal director or related field)
