Administer maintain and troubleshoot the JAMS scheduling platform and supporting infrastructure.
Perform daily operational checklists to ensure critical jobs and services are running as expected.
Manage and support enterprise backup systems including Veeam and Barracuda.
Provide Level 2/3 support for infrastructure-related issues.
Monitor system health and performance using Enterprise Monitoring Systems (EMS)experience with OpsRamp is a strong plus.
Support both Windows Server and Linux-based systems in production and development environments.
Participate in a rotating on-call support schedule.
Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve issues implement improvements and support cross-functional initiatives.
Document procedures configurations and troubleshooting steps to enhance team knowledge.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for system reliability automation and operational efficiency.
Take initiative to learn and grow skills with the opportunity to branch into other technical teams.
Key Requirements:
3 years of experience in a technical operation system administration or similar role.
Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux environments.
Experience managing or supporting job scheduling systemsJAMS experience highly preferred.
Familiarity with backup technologies especially Veeam and/or Barracuda.
Experience with enterprise monitoring tools; OpsRamp a strong plus.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Bachelors degree in IT or a related area is strongly preferred.
Preferred:
Experience working in a hybrid or enterprise IT environment.
Familiarity with ITIL or structured change management processes.
Exposure to scripting (PowerShell Bash etc.) is a plus.
