Role: Primary Teacher (Year 1 and 2)
Daily Rate: 120160
Location: York
We are working with a well-regarded inclusive school in the Clifton area of York that is committed to helping every learner thrive. The school promotes a calm and purposeful learning environment where pupils are supported to develop confidence and independence.
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to work across Year 1 and Year 2 on a long-term basis. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about early education and is committed to making a lasting impact in Key Stage 1.
The successful candidate will bring energy flexibility and a nurturing approach to the classroom. While recent classroom experience is beneficial a proactive mindset and strong classroom management skills are equally valued.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering engaging lessons tailored to Year 1 and 2 pupils
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Supporting pupils academic and emotional development
Working closely with colleagues and parents to meet individual needs
Contributing to planning and assessment
This is a long-term role with the potential to become ongoing for the right person. A supportive team and opportunities for continued professional development are available within the school.
