Join our Team: WearKraft Sales Manager
Location: East Coast Australia


The Australian WearKraft Sales Manager will develop and grow the WearKraft business in Australia in conjunction with the existing Terex Jaques sales and aftermarket teams. They will be expected to develop targets to sell and expand brand recognition of WearKraft within the Australian Market. They will develop all aspects of field-based customer service including relationship development problem solving communication territory management training and product comparisons.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new sales leads and grow customer base.
  • Establish execute and maintain effective customer call plans.
  • Manage discount levels and strive to improve company margins.
  • Establish sales forecasts and secure sales orders according to goals.
  • Control expenses per agreed upon budget.
  • Establish and implement marketing plans to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Establish and execute sales promotional activities including exhibitions.
  • Educate customers on products service warranties and technical support.
  • Manage WearKraft stock holdings suitable to market
  • Prepare formal tenders and quotations for the sale of WearKraft product.
  • Ensure that customers have access to product and engineering support along with other team members as necessary.
  • Communicate and train customers on the features and benefits of WearKraft product.
  • Receive feedback on existing products and services with a view to identifying opportunity for enhancements and new products.
  • Identify and communicate potential new machine or service opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance to the Terex Australia policy procedures and work instructions documented quality system and all OH&S procedures policies and work instructions. In addition ensure compliance to statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Any other duties as required to fulfil the role including taking part in any training as required.
  • Outside of standard work hours contact due to the seniority and nature of this role there is a degree of reasonable out of hours contact. Reasonable contact may include but not limited to meetings emails and phone calls where required which may be scheduled or urgent. The compensation for this role accommodates these requirements.

Position Qualifications

Education / Training

  • Degree educated in business engineering or possessing equivalent work experience.

Experience

  • Previous sales experience with crusher manganese wear parts.
  • Track record of having built strong business relationships.
  • Demonstrable success in new business development product marketing and sales.
  • Exceptional time & territory management practices.
  • Technical sales capability both to end users: able to understand & articulate features and benefits of crusher manganese wear parts.
